iWasThere (2011)
A social network about photography for the iPhone, based on cloud computing. I created the data model, part of the logic and some user interfaces. I used Amazon AWS iOS SDK, Flurry, ASIHTTPRequest and some other pieces of open source code. Backend was developed using Amazon S3, Amazon SimpleDB and Amazon EC2. The database was created using SimpleDB, a NoSQL database, in order to improve scalability.
Although the app is available in the App Store, the backend is not working because the project was discontinued, and therefore the app does not work.
